7. In-Person Consultation Reservation Process – San José
Because the procedure is performed directly by the creator of the technique, consultation and surgical slots are limited.
To schedule an in-person BabyLift® consultation in San José, the patient must complete a refundable reservation payment of $1,000 USD, distributed as follows:
-
$100 USD corresponding to the in-person medical consultation fee.
-
$900 USD refundable, which will be returned after the consultation provided the patient attends the scheduled appointment.
The purpose of the reservation payment is to:
-
Confirm the seriousness of the patient’s interest.
-
Secure a limited medical agenda slot.
-
Cover administrative and organizational costs.
The consultation does not guarantee approval for the procedure, as eligibility depends exclusively on the in-person medical evaluation.
8. Payment Methods and Appointment Hold Policy
The reservation payment may be made using:
-
Credit or debit card.
-
PayPal.
-
Bank deposit or bank transfer (manual payment method).
Payment by Bank Deposit
-
When selecting bank deposit, the appointment slot will be provisionally held for a maximum of 24 hours.
-
The patient must submit proof of payment within this timeframe to confirm the reservation.
-
If proof of payment is not received within 24 hours, the appointment will be automatically released without prior notice and may be assigned to another patient.
9. Appointment Confirmation and Use of Online Scheduling
Once payment is confirmed, the patient may select their appointment through the clinic’s official online scheduling system.
Appointments are assigned strictly in order of payment confirmation.
Each appointment slot is unique and non-transferable.
Failure to attend the appointment (no-show) will result in the loss of the consultation fee.
10. Post-Consultation Policies
-
If, after the in-person consultation, the patient decides not to proceed with the procedure, a retention of $400 USD will apply, corresponding to medical consultation and comprehensive evaluation costs.
-
If the patient confirms surgery, the amount paid will be 100% applicable toward the total procedure cost.
-
The remaining balance must be paid 48 hours prior to the surgical procedure date.
11. Administrative Policy and Cancellations
-
If the patient voluntarily withdraws before the 48-hour period prior to the procedure, an administrative retention of $400 USD will apply.
-
Cancellations outside the permitted timeframe result in the non-refundable loss of the reservation deposit.
-
Failure to appear on the day of the procedure (no-show) will result in a non-refundable deposit.
-
If, based on medical criteria, it is determined on the day of surgery that it is not safe to proceed due to the patient’s clinical condition, the procedure may be rescheduled, with a $600 USD operating room cancellation penalty, which will be applied toward the new reservation.
12. Final Considerations
BabyLift® is a minor surgical procedure that combines technical precision, anatomical planning, and minimal invasiveness to achieve harmonious facial rejuvenation.
It is not a superficial treatment nor an injectable procedure.
It requires:
-
In-person medical evaluation.
-
Strict compliance with pre- and postoperative instructions.
-
Active patient commitment to the recovery process.
